about

exodisque is proud to collaborate with US producer David Sutton and his project LXV. It's about time this great album 'Loss Function' sees a physical version (originally released as a digital download with limited edition T-Shirt, which is now sold out).

"A loss function is a function that maps an event or values of one or more variables onto a real number intuitively representing some "cost" associated with the event. W. Edwards Deming and Nassim Nicholas Taleb argue that empirical reality, not precise mathematical properties, should be the sole basis for selecting loss functions, and real losses often aren’t mathematically nice and aren’t differentiable, continuous, symmetric, etc."
